Birthday Walk

A Little Owl tradition

At Little Owl, birthdays are more than a celebration.

During our Birthday Walk, children look back at photos and memories from each year of their lives and see how much they have grown. We also talk about the love and care they have received from their families.

As children grow, we help them understand that each new year also brings new responsibilities — and more reasons to be thankful for the people who have supported them.

Purpose Behind the Play

Our Messy Play sessions give children opportunities to explore new materials, interact, communicate and try unfamiliar experiences. Teachers observe how each child participates and responds, and parents receive feedback after the session.

Messy Play is offered separately from the regular kindergarten programme.
