Why Little Owl Began
It started with something we experienced within our own family.
Little Owl began with a real experience within our own family. We saw how challenging the transition to primary school can become when important foundations are left too late — language learning, particularly Mandarin, was the clearest example.
That experience changed the way we think about early education. From the early years, children need time to build language, literacy, numeracy, communication, learning habits, independence and confidence — steadily, at a pace that suits their stage of development.
With Teacher Evon’s experience in early childhood education and kindergarten leadership, Little Owl was created around that belief: strong foundations for school, with the space to enjoy childhood, explore, play and learn.
So when primary school begins, children are ready to move forward — not rushing to catch up.
Where learning and play work together
At Little Owl, learning happens through both structured teaching and purposeful play. Children build foundations in language, literacy and numeracy while learning to focus, communicate, work independently and take part confidently in the classroom.
